Virtual Office Hours with Addiction Medicine Specialists
The STAR Project's virtual office hours will be an opportunity for anyone across the state, from fellow providers to community members to employers, to ask questions and speak openly about substance use and treatment. These will occur on Fridays over Teams virtual meetings, and are completely open to the public.
Our interdisciplinary team of experts in addiction medicine are happy to answer questions about anything SUD-related, from supporting a loved one in their recovery journey to prescribing for special populations to building a recovery-friendly workplace. Stop by and chat, and join a community of people with the same passion and care for Iowans struggling with substance use disorder.
Project iECHO
UI ARC is working with Project ECHO to create a virtual community, designed to connect healthcare providers for the purpose of sharing knowledge on addiction medicine.
Project iECHO sessions will be held every fourth Monday.
This August, the session will take place on Monday August 4th.

Recovery Iowa's Recovery Residence Homepage
Our partners at the ISU Public Science Collaborative have created a Recovery Residences database page on Recovery-Iowa.org.
This new resource highlights recovery residences across the state of Iowa that are certified by the National Alliance for Recovery Residences (NARR).
This webpage provides live totals for Iowa's NARR-certified recovery residences and bed capacity, along with a listing of providers operating NARR-certified residences in Iowa. It also includes recovery housing publications and additional resources.
